Note: All Wattmeters are calibrated at cos f = 1 and Varmeters at sin f = 1
All low power factor wattmeters are calibrated at cos f = 0.2 lag
Other voltage and current ranges can be supplied on request, subject to technical feasibility
Working Principle
An analog wattmeter operates using two measurement circuits:
- Current coil: Connected in series with the load to respond to the current flowing through the circuit.
- Voltage coil: Connected across the load to respond to the voltage.
