The Wheatstone bridge is a fundamental circuit that is used to measure the resistance of a circuit element. It is based on the principle that a bridge circuit is balanced when the ratio of the resistances in one arm of the circuit is equal to the ratio of the resistances in the other arm of the circuit.
The Wheatstone bridge circuit consists of four resistive arms, each connected in a loop, with an unknown resistance in one arm, a variable resistance in another arm, and two known resistances in the remaining arms.
