Two Stroke Diesel Engine Model from Elmo Agencies, a Manufacturer in Ambala, is a simpler type of engine compared with a four-stroke engine, completing its operating cycle in just two strokes. Despite its simpler mechanical design, it can produce significantly higher power compared with a four-stroke engine of similar size.

This model is designed to demonstrate the internal construction and operating principles of an air-cooled two-stroke diesel engine. It is constructed using aluminium alloy and gunmetal, with ignition represented by a miniature bulb and the fuel supply section clearly shown. A hand crank is provided to allow manual operation of the model.

The engine is mounted on a sturdy base and includes a labelled placard with diagrams explaining its working process. The model helps students understand how the four fundamental processes of an internal combustion engine- intake, compression, ignition, and exhaust—are completed within one revolution, or approximately 360 mechanical degrees, in a two-stroke engine.

In comparison, a four-stroke engine completes these processes over two complete crankshaft revolutions. In a two-stroke engine, multiple functions take place simultaneously during the operating cycle, making its working mechanism different from that of a conventional four-stroke engine.
